Show Dem Camp has been around for over 9 years and one must admit the progress they have made so far is commendable, one thing that amazes me most is how they have been able to balance the two sides, one time they dropping “Palmwine Vibes” simultaneously dropping one of the best hip-hop project in recent times, this is not an easy thing to achieve because so many rap acts have tried jumping on the commercial trend but they end up being stuck there, they also get boxed each time they try to leave they get reminded “ess we no want rap give us kpangolo”. But SDC worked around this, as a matter of fact after the Palmwine Music 2 project their fans began asking for “CloneWars” and they heeded their call.

Fresh from the success of the second edition of the annual Palmwine Music festival, which was preceded by the Palmwine Music 2 project, the boys are now back in the building to gift their fans an early new year present.

Clone War 4 which is themed “These Buhari Times” is a political satirical project reflecting societal ills ranging from bad governance to peer pressure amongst youths, they featured some heavy names such as M.I Abaga, Vector, Boogey just to mention a few. The objective was duly achieved because the songs were all themed and properly recorded with conscious lyrics which at first listen would make one reflect on the sounds.

The artwork of the project itself is amazing, it tells more than a thousand words just at a glance it reflects the present day Nigerian society.

Palmwine music serves as an appetizer while the “Clone War Series” remains the main deal. ShowDemCamp is the most consistent duo in recent times.

Respect, Loyalty, and Honour is my favorite off this project.
